About Us
Our Name
We wanted the name we chose for our business to have significance and to accurately reflect its values. We borrowed the term “maro” from an independent investor and philanthropist. It is a shortened form of the Japanese word “magakoro,” which denotes a genuine heart. Maro best encapsulate our business. Our organization was founded with the genuine goal of enhancing the lives of our fellow citizens by providing high-quality, universally accessible educational resources. The prefix “del,” which means “from” in Spanish, was added. Del Maro Learning Resources, therefore, translates to “learning from the heart” (Del Maro Learning) and “sharing it in any way we can” (Resources). Our noble philosophy is envisioned in our name.
Our Vision
We want our dynamic company to be the largest and most respected enabler of learning. We will produce learning materials and related resources that are highly sought by academic institutions and outstanding educators all over the country. Beyond our publications, Del Maro learning Resources is considered a center of excellence for learning resources, information, and development. Our credo expresses our corporate beliefs and mission which are highly valued by young learners, clients, business partners, employees, and stakeholders.
